Hey James...Maybe I can help YOU for once...Have you gotten help yet??...I see that the request is about 3 months old...I HAVE the complete service manual for that set...That set has several factory menus...If you still need help , I will need more info as to what you are trying to do with the green...Ron.M

Thanks for the reply Ron but

Thanks for the reply Ron but that set is a done deal , customer has already picked that one up . Found info in the resources section of this site . I did post last night on needing the info on how to access the service menu of a Philips set model # 32PT6441/37 . Would you happen to have that info ? The vertical is about a half an inch too long . Thanks , James

I think you mean a half inch "high"...Or are we talking about a "Width" problem ??
I may have the chassis info for that set....I am somewhat limited on Phillips data...Shoot me the chassis #....BTW, have you checked the lytics in the vert out circuit ??...Most likely they're the cause...I will try to help you as best as I can...

Hey the chassis is L04.1UAA

Hey the chassis is L04.1UAA made in 2004 . No the caps check good with the ESR meter nor does it change at startup or after it has warmed up. Just needs to be ajusted slightly . Top and bottom off about half an inch . ESPN ticker you can read all of it except about 1/4 " . Hope you have it , James

Not to get off the subject at

Not to get off the subject at hand . I was given a Mitsubishi WS55315 . The problem i have is when you plug it in the green power light comes on and thats it. No clicking of the relay or anything. Also you cannot perform the error code test as well by holding the input and menu at the sane time . The only manuel i could find was the WS55311. Any suggestions , not in a hurry as this set is mine to sell . I posted it on this site but no response . James

Sorry , I do not have that  manual....Frown....Before this computer crashed a year ago , I had Force32 on board with easy access to the manuals & may have had one that would help you out...

What I do have is a Force32 CD with a boatload of manuals....However , the CD has several scratches from moving....Some data is missing & I can not install it....Frown....I have all the service manuals written on 3 CD's ( unscratched)....But I can not access them...They are in a ROM format....I've tried to find a file to open them on the internet & all I get are Registery Repair programs (Boosters etc)....Also have a program called Roxio , which I think is TOTALLY useless & has caused me problems in the past...I'LL need some time to find a program that works.....
The Vert adjust for that set is in the factory menu...You will need the original remote & code to access it...

Regarding: ""Mitsubishi WS55315""....I think that the manual for  ""WS55311"" should be close enough for you to work with...I' m not familiar with this model...My 1st suggestion would be to check power supply voltages....OR you can go for the jugular & check the Horiz out transister for a short...What is the year of this set...IF this set utilizes an on-off relay , check the transister for collector volts & the base for power on voltage....
Later....Ron...

I do believe my problem is in

I do believe my problem is in the microprocessor section . In the manuel it stated that if the led flashes at plugin micro is repsonding . If not flashing then micro is not working. I already checked the above parts you mentioned and there ok . I think it is something on the signal board or the doubler module . Bot the friendleist tv to work on but i'm in no hurry . Thanks anyway for checking on those manuels for me and good luck on your TV , James

Ron.M
jsf2323:...On the micro there

jsf2323:...On the micro there is (usually) a power on pin....Check there & see if it responds to a power up from the front panel or remote...On some that pin will go "high" , on others it will go "low"...It MUST change voltage...IF that is OK , I'd take a serious look at ALL the Power Supply Voltages (standby & run) & see if they are coming up to specs...IF you can't get the error codes to flash indicates to me that the set may be  not getting  full or all  PS volts...Those error codes are from the micro checking various circuits & reporting back to the micro...IF those circuits are not  operating , you may not be able to generate an error code....Hope this helps....Later ...Ron

Hey Ron.M sorry to jump the

Hey Ron.M sorry to jump the subject of the post but I was browsing through the forums looking for help on repairing my tv (which Im kind of new 2) when i noticed you were having trouble with your manual files. Sounds like they are ISO or image files which you can use a program called DAEMON tools to open and read them. The program is free and can be found here http://www.daemon-tools.cc/downloads hope this helps.

I hope jsf2323 doesn't mind this post...The man gave me a world of help on a RCA that was giving me fits...Without his help , that set would still  be unfixed...

So I will download the program you suggessted & send you a PM with the results...Altho , I'm a bit skeptical that they are ISO files....But , it's certainly worth a try....Thanks , again....
