I turned on my tv the other day and had a flickering red screen. I tried turning it off and on, and got the same thing. I tried the reset button and got a blinking green light for about 5 minutes, I pushed the reset buton again, and got a green blinking light. After about 1 minute I got a solid red lamp light, and no green light. I had a service guy come out, he tried a new lamp, and he got a black screen for a couple of minutes then a solid red lamp light. He pushed the buttons on the front to bring up the trouble code, and it gave him a 43 (or 34 not to sure). He called today and said the engine was bad. Can anyone advise if this sounds correct, and if so, is this a problem I can fix my self?
