Panasonic PT 51DX80A 51" projection tv color problems at the bottom of screen

I have a panasonic PT 51DX80A and as of yesterday it started showing a blue and yellow/green arch on the bottom of the screen. It starts from the left and goes up about 1/3 of the screen's height and then has a long slope down toward the right hand bottom corner. Also there is some bowing of blue color at the top of the screen. The TV was made in 2000 used for a year or so, then sat unused until 2005 when it was given to us by a relative. No complaints except for a couple of spider webs behind the diplay. There are external home theatre speakers on both sides of the TV, but they've both been there since the first time we set it up. I've been searching forums and internet help sites for hours on end and this seems to be the most helpful for people. I've also been looking for a service manual for the TV. I'm not familiar with projection TVs and their technical part names, but I'm a do-it-youselfer and can follow procedure very well, so if anyone can help me out, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

hi
this is your lucky site.
what you describing it sounds like a convergence problem,
try vancebaldwin co. for your tv schematic and parts.

stk392-110 is the ic that you'll need, (replace 2ea).
