Whenever I see a new TV setup, I am flabergasted at the number of wires that must actually go from all of the audio/video/cable/antenna equipment to the TV. A miriad of cables that have to be routed and hidden from view so all you really see is the TV.
Isn't there a product that allow me to plug all of my devices into it so I can send one complete high quality signal to my TV through a single cable?
Hi. Ive set up a whole system at home where the computer, tv and DVD player are all connected to a cable splitter which is then connected to the speaker. This way i only need to connect one cable to the speakers, which then limits the amount of wires flying around. It works really well. This is where i get my stuff from speaker cables
Had firewire really taken off in the home market, most setups would have been a single cable solution, daisy chained from device to device. HDMI is what we get though, which does handle audio and video in a single cable, but depending on the age of your gear and what you intend to do (recording, etc) you'll inevitably use more cables than you'd probably like.
