Sony KP53XBR200 Blinks Twice

Just tonight after 10 years of use, our Sony set shut down all of a sudden and started blinking twice. So I was able to locate an on-line Service Manual says two blinks for this set are related to:

B+ over current protection (OCP), unit goes to the standby mode then displays the 2 blink fault. Could be a short in the power supply of any of the circuits.

In the service manual, the power supplies seems to be contained on the G board. Is this correct? I was able to find a G board power supply form Sony for about $185. Has anyone successfully fixed a problem like this with a replacement of the G board?
