Hello, I have a 50" Mitsubishi TV that I purchased new in Nov. 1998, as we were watching it one evening, awhile ago, it simply "clicked" and went off. Now when you hit the power button to turn it on, it clicks and the green power indicator light comes on like all is well (for about 5 seconds) and it "clicks" off again. I didnt want to throw it out before researching a cost to repair first, because it is in great shape appearance wise. Any helpful advice will be appreciated, Thanks in advance!! SlickRick50
It happened agin to me today. From what I've read on the blogs it is a very common problem. I have the same problem and have had it for every year for 4 years that i have owned it since new. I had someone come out and fix it every time and last time the tech left me a lf 251 5a fuse for when it happens again. It's been awile and I have the back cover off the tv right now and am trying to locate it and replace it . I have no clue and can't find the right board that it is in. Any ideas where it is in the TV?.
