Hello good people of the forum,
I recently aquired a sony kp 41s4u and to cut a long story short, it had a blurry picture and didnt look right! so, being a headstrong fool like i am, i took it upon myself to follow someone else on this forums excellant cleaning instructions, which worked an absolute treat, it was 90% better just through cleaning!
I then removed the front panel and started fine tuning the focus etc, which also started clearing up the final flaws in the image.
DISASTER! all of a sudden the screen just went to a solid green colour! i have no idea what i have done, but all the tuning screws just change the colour of the screen, but i cannot seem to get the picture back. all the lenses are firing out colour and everything else seems to be working fine.
can someone please help me! my girlfriend will literally kill me for breaking this tv!
