My friend asked me to see if I could find out the problem with his 52" Phillips rear projection T.V. he tell me when words come up on the screen thy are doubled sort of like a Shadow.also he gets green and red wavy lines at the bottom of his screen.Any idea or dose it just need adjustment?
i dont know how old set is but you may have a convergence ic problem. if you cant get it to adjust thats your problem. if ics are stk-392-110 or stk392-120 replace with stk-392-180. replace both of these ics not just one. also you must check the resistors & fuses near the ics.this is not an easy job so be carefull...
