Polaroid TV Scratches on Base of TV

I have a 32 in HD LCD Widescreen Polaroid TV I can't tell you how much havoc I've been through from my son damaging these TV's.This is my THIRD TV (same brand) he scratches the screens up so bad I had to take them back but we finally got some plexy glass on the screen now it DOES help but yesterday he took a sharp edge on one of his toys and scratched the plexy glass bad that can be replaced but the base of the TV is silver and he scratched it up I was wondering if there is anything that can take the scratches off the base of the TV when I say base I mean the part the TV is sitting on.Any tips or info that can help me please respond.Thank You.BTW Polaroid HD TV's are JUNK don't buy one had alot of other issues with these TV's.
