I began transfering my tapes to dvd using my video camera as source. The camera has stopped working and will not accept a Tape. Does anyone know what and where I can buy a component that will play back my tapes (8mm Video Cassette) to my pc. I have a feeling it will be pricey to get my Sony fixed (and I wouldn't know where to have it fixed). Thank You, Ripper
I don't know where you are located, but Sony made an 8mm player at one time. These are hard to find though. Send me a note here with your Email and I'll try to locate a repair center for you. Typical repairs for these run about $150 or so.
