I know others have posted in here about resolving the "blinking green light of death" associated with Mitsubishi WS-55513 et al models, but here's another testimonial.
Had the usual symptoms. Ocassionally, TV wouldn't power up & only displayed green blinking light. Turning set off for awhile worked - for a while.
Finally, set would only display blinking gree light regardless of any actions.
Found the repair instructions (see Larry), bought the capacitors ($.39 each) and a friend did the installation last night.
Really not much to it. Removing the DM module (inside the silver cage) did require some adjustment and re-seating before it worked - but it did work.
If you haven't soldered anything in a while, it would be a good idea to practice before attempting to do the repair.
Also, keep in mind that the clearance between the top of the capacitors and the cage is tight.
Good luck!
