Okay, I really can't afford a new one right now so I'm really hoping the problem is fixable, but my tv is now 6 1/2 years old so is it even worth it? The problem is this- after watching for an hour, the tv just shuts off and then starts right back up. THen I can watch for about another 20-30 minutes before it'll happen again. Then it starts doing it more frequently until it's pretty much every three or four minutes apart. It started doing this about a month ago and at first it was maybe once or twice a night. I've tried plugging it in to three different outlets and it will subside for a while, but then start right back at it. It's a 28 (or 27 whatever) inch Panasonic Tau, and up until now, it's been a fabulous tv for years! Does anyone know what's wrong with it???? Help?
