Sony kds-r50xbr1 cuts off and on every 2 minutes

Hi guys i'm new and cant type.But but my KDS-R50XBR1 Sony is 1.5 years old. Since I turned it on this  morning picture and sound have been going out for 30 seconds and then coming back on for 2 minutes then going back out againfor 30 seconds. This has been a continuos cycle for 2 hours.While the picture and sound are out the green led power on lite flashes green,when picture and sound come back the led stops flashing and stays on like normal.There are no flashing red leds or warning notices of anykind being displayed by the TV.This also, is happening regardless of  what the signal source is (satalite,HD local air,regular local air or DVD player).I tried unpluging the TV from the wall for a couple of minutes to see if it would reset--no change.Any knowledge would be greatly appreaciated.
