Does anyone have a service manual and/or schematics for MITSUBISHI WS-65908 Rear Projection TV/Big screen? TV is approximately 5-6 years old and this is my first problem with the unit. Problem is Hourglass shape on both sides, and on left side of screen is out of focus, and colors are separating (blue, red and green). After a few second, problem resolves itself and TV looks great. Than, when you think its all over, problem returns - it's hard on the eyes. Reading up and after several searches, it's pointing to the Convergence modules. Is this correct?
I will tackle the repairs myself. Any information/documentation and/or step by step - would be greatful : )

If the problem is intermittant, you really should go in there and resolder the convergence IC. The longer you wait, the more of a chance that the IC will go bad. I do not happen to have this service manual. You should be able to download one from HERE. Good Luck
