can anyone help me got a LG 48inch tv plasma but just lately its started getting multicoloured spots on the screen they do not always appear please help
the spots are coloured but they seem to come and go at first we thought it was the ariel but it wasnt as they appeared when we were watching a dvd and as for the model i dont know sorry but idont know thanks for replying
What you're describing sounds like a "sparkle" symptom. LG's are famous for this. They can sometimes be tweaked out by adjusting voltages on the Y sustain board but that is a fix that rarely lasts long. Usually it requires the replacement of the Y sustain board and possibly the X Sus and Logic boards.
Yeaup -- got one in the shop right now doing the exact same thing. Tweeking the statain and x sus has never fixed it for me, i just replace the y board. you are probibly right - that is his problem.

what is a y board and where can i get one or to whom shall i take it to
If it is in warranty, take it into an authorized shop. the boards are very expensive, i just oredered one for our shop it was about $300.00 for the board with a dud return requirement.
are they blurry blotches, or spots with definate red, green blue, extreme coloring with hard edges to the spot. what is the model ?
