Sony KV-24FV12

We have this TV installed in custom cabinet in our motorhome.  We can remove it, but would like to know if we should start shopping for a new one or anticipate repair before we remove the TV, or should we have our motorhome electric circuit checked.

We have an intermittent problem where picture goes away and there's a two blink code flashing.  I have read the following already - "TWO Blinks---B+ over current protection (OCP) , unit goes to the standby mode then displays the 2 blink fault. Could be a short in the power supply of any of the circuits."

My question is - is the short in the motorhome circuits or the TV circuits?  The article does not say.

I'm looking this one up later

I'm looking this one up later today.  I can answer it here or at the other website where you asked me the same question.  Any preference on site for the answer or both?  I plan on giving you the probable parts for replacement.  Stay tuned...

The most common cause of this

The most common cause of this is the Horizontal Output Transistor being shorted.  The Sony part number is 8-729-046-07.  Also check R556 (should be located not to far from the HOT).  It shold be a 1.2K 1/4Watt Resistor Sony part number 1-249-418-11.  These part should be redily available at TRITRONICSINC.COM or any other Sony parts distributor.

Good luck.
