camcorders

Can not play videos through either my sony dcr trv260 ntsc or my sony trv480 ntsc - screen shows reinsert tape and blinks C:31:23 any one know what to do to correct this.  Would be greatly appreacated have 60 hours of motorcycle trip unable to view and of course transfer. HELP
