I am just going to throw my Sony TV out of the window!
Ok, have connected the ps3 no problem, been using it for about a year.
Now, have just connected the S Video lead from laptop to the tv, now, I have a problem, the PC automatically takes priority on the channel ( marked game ) I have to take the s video lead out to use my PS3
Basically, I need to get them on different channels.... you wouldn't think difficult..
anyone have any REALLY LAYMAN ideas....

A lot of sets will have an option to use video inputs OR an S-video but not both at once. So if your TV set only has one video input jack and one S-video jack, you will need to get an RF modulator for the game and run the game through the TV tuner, or you will need to get a video switch, or at worst, get a different TV set. The modulator only cost about 15 bucks or so and you can pick one up at almost any store that sells electronics including Radio Shack. Good Luck and Happy new Year.
