I bought a SONY Trinitron Color TV KV-35XBR88 for $99.00. I will be picking it up this Friday. The owner said it just shut down and then would not turn back on. I will post more on this when I get it home and just getting a feel for this model and if it will be worth wile in repairing and If I paid to much for it. I did hear the have very clean sharp picture, any Pre thoughts? Oh BTW Larry YOU ARE GREAT!!! This may hve been a good buy. Post the blink code and we'll be able to give you more details. With a little luck, all you will need is the power supply parts and you're off and running for cheap.

Dan, is the blink code information in the owner's manual?
Not usually. Count the number of blinks when you power it up. You will see a blink count, a pause, then the count again. This will repeat over and over. Post the count and we'll guide you from there. The count is generated by internal diagnostics and will help to pinpoint the problem.
