Our GVX DVD player was fine 2 weeks ago. Now, It has a lingering loading message than a "Bad Disc" message. Everything appears to be plugged in properly. Other DVD discs come up with the same message, so it seems like it must be the player. What possible solutions could there be? thank you
Most likely the problem is either a dirty lens on the optics assembly or bad optics. In either case, try opening up the unit and cleaning the lens carefully with a Q-tip and alcohol. Other than that, there is little that can be done without test equipment.
