Hey first time on site and web boards - yeah behind the times! I have an Akai 54" crt tv and replaced the main convergence board for my red being all out of whack. Plug and play and corrected the red problem, so I can manually adjust it now. My question is - what's the best way to make a screen jig, without spending a $100 bucks to buy one. Any help would be appreciatted!! Do I use transparent paper and draw the outline or what? Can anyone tell me what a screen jig looks like, can't seem to find any information online.
Just an add on, does anyone know if using rca cables on the component side makes that big a difference from using so called component cables? What is the difference?
