SAMSUNG HCN473W CONVERGENCE FAILURE??

Hi all, new to this forum, so please go easy on me.  I have a Samsung 47" HCN473w, purchased in Dec. 2003.  A while back, the picture started showing blue shading and out of focus.  Perfect focus would only take it to 37% and then it would stop on the blue and start over again.  Two weeks ago, the picture disappeared completely and the set shut down.  When I turned it back on, only the timer light on the front would flash and the set would click on and off, I can hear a relay sound inside clicking.  I ordered a new convergence board from Future Shop and installed the whole board, but that changed nothing.  I still have the timer light flashing and the relay clicking in and out.  Is there something in the power supply that burns out when the convergence board gives out or any idea what else I should try checking.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
