I have a Mitsubishi 50" VS-50SE1 which was made for Sega for several Video Games. No one has been able to find a manual for it and when Mit was contacted, they did not know anything about it. It was made in 1996. If I can find a manual, it would be a big help.
Anyway, the set comes on and I hear high voltage and it shuts down after 3 seconds. I figure the power supply is good because it turn on and the HOT is good becuase I hear high voltage. I though the Vert Output IC was bad and I changed it but no luck.
I think it may be one of the Convergence IC's is bad. I have no other ideas.
Any help or advice will be appreciated.

I did a quick search, and what i am gathering it is part of a commercial video game outfit, I suspect the service manual would be part of a service pack for the whole machine. try getting the model number for the whole unit.

I would not assume that, bad caps in the power supply, ect.. could cause the same type of symptom.
have an interest in old arcade games, this might be a really neat troubleshoot, if you get a manual if you want some help i would love to dive into with you.
