Hitachi HDTV 65SWX20B

I have this 5 year old hdtv set that developed a straight, thin blue line that runs the width of the screen about 1/3 down from the top of the set. Another thin blue line forms an arc above the straight blue line and is about 14" above the straight line to the right and left and 10" above the straight blue line in the middle. In between these two lines is a light blueish distortion. It is almost like an overlay of this faded blueish discoloration on top of the tv image. The tv image is not distorted or at least doesn't appear from normal viewing distance. I tried the magic focus, but to no avail. To me, a convergence issue would seem to occur if the tv was bumped, but the image just appeared and is now ever-present.  But again, I have no idea how convergence issues arise. Any suggestions? I checked all connections and all are fine.
