I have a panasonic PT-56HX41 and I'm having a problem where as soon as i turn on the tv i you hear it power on then after a second it turns itself off. The TV was recently given to me and now went out also so i'm wondering how much it would cost to repair and whether it is worth it or not.
Not sure this information will be helpful, but prior to this problem I was having a concave looking picture.

You don't really have enough information to get a good diagnosis, But the geometry problem might be the convergence ic's but the description is to vague to get a good read on that. Is there a blink code when it shuts down?
It just blinks once then waits like a second or so and blinks again. It's a steady blink.
