SONY BRAVIA PICTURE LOSS

My BRAVIA KDL-V32A12U loses picture and sound after about 45 minutes. The standby light flashes 3 times every 2 seconds. After a short while it it can be switched on for a few minutes then the symtoms repeat themselves.
