I was at Taco Bell this weekend, and I overheard someone say that they'd just bought their 8 year old daughter a cell phone. Obviously, I wasn't really trying to listen in on their conversation, so I don't know what the context was, but I thought ... EIGHT YEARS OLD, and they already have a cell phone. That's crazy.
I'm now seeing kids walking around the malls ... sorry ... being pushed around the mall in strollers texting their friends (facetious, but not by much) on their new Razr (MOTORAZR v3) or Chocolate (LG VX9400).
So, couple questions...
1) How do these kids afford a Chocolate?
2) When would you allow your kid to get his/her first cell phone? Under what conditions?
