Hi, I have a Phillips 6p5435-101 that a neighbor gave me. It gets a decent picture, but is a little fuzzy. It was made in 9/96. I have made all of the corrections that I can thru the set itself, but it doesn't seem to help much. Is this a good tv? What are common problems with this model if any? Colors seem to be pretty good in red, blue & green. I was watching Nascar last night & the cars don't seem to have as accurate a color as on my other smaller sets. Thanks for any help! Eddie
Eddie, You may need to clean the internal mirror and Len's inside the set OR maybe the fluid inside the picture tubes will need replacing. Look inside the tubes while they are on and see if they are fuzzy looking or if there is stuff floating around inside of them. There is a posting here at techlore on how to do this procedure HERE. Good Luck
i am a philips tech, what is the problem, sorry i cannot give out service manuals but i might be able to help?
