I have a KP46WT500 when I turn on the CRT 07MVC21(R)-L(FL) the color red not power on but the other the green and blue work fine at the 15sec all tv turn off.
I check the other board I can not find any problem, any body help me. If necesary replace the part CRT 07MVC21(R)-(FL) and where I can found the service manual.
Any body a see this problem when only the CRT 07MVC21(R)-L(FL) color red not power on and the orther color power on fine.
well, do you see the filiment light up in the red tube, there is not enough information for a good repair, What is the bilink code on the set when it shuts down?
Don't jump to the conclusion that the crt is bad, that generaly is not the case.
Swap the green CRT board with the red one. If the red tube comes on, and the green does not, you know you have a red drive problem and the CRT is good. The drive problem could be the driver IC or the voltage coming from the sweep power supply. You will need to compare the voltages from one working CRT board to the bad board using a schematic diagram. You should be able to pin it down in no time. If you can follow circuit flow with a schematic diagram, I can share a service manual if you leave an e-mail address. But if you cannot, don't even try, it is just too dangerous as you must know how to use a schematic .Good Luck
this is the problem when plug and try to turn on
Did you take off the red crt board and take off the green tube board and then put the green tube board onto the red crt? Simply swap the green board with the red one, and see if the red tube lights up. If it does not, then the tube or the high voltage block is bad.
I change of posicion the crt and the crt green the light is seen but the crt red itself not nothing is seen.
I think that the crt red this damaged.
I am sorry, I do not understand what you are saying to me. DID you change the green board to the red CRT? Do you see the tube light up on the end of the tube by where the board is attached?
I am sorry, I change the green board to red CRT but I not see the tube light and the green CRT I put the board from the red CRT I see the tube light up on in the green CRT.
Then the red tube Maybe is bad. Make sure the high voltage distribution block is not bad by tracing back the high voltage wires from both the green and the red picture tubes and swapping them. If indeed the red and the green boards are reversed and the high voltage leads are reversed as well, then indeed the picture tube is bad. Do you see the filament inside the red tube light up orange at the end of the tube?
swap out the HV lead and see if it lights up. If not, the tube is bad.
I swap all wires but I not see the lights up.
I think is the tube is bad!!
Thank for all the help, I made the order for a new CRT.
