I have a 60 inch mitsubishi projection Tv model vs60-607with rolling horizontal lines going from top to bottom of the screen. This problem would appeear for about 15 or 20 minutes and would clear out and display a good picture. Gradually, the rolling horizontal lines have gone on for longer periods until now it is permanent. Is there something i would need to replace on the board or another component inside? Ive tried all of the inputs but the problem remains the same. I dont think the issue is with the lamps as each lamp displays the same rolling lines. Any help would be appreciated!! thank you
You have bad capacitors in the PIP circuit or in one of the many power supplies in this TV set. This will involve checking and looking for weak capacitors with an ESR capacitor meter. If you do not have an ESR meter or have no printed circuit board experience, play it safe and call out a pro to assist you in this repair. Good Luck

is it easier, and is it too hard to take the board off and take it to a technician, rather than take the whole T.V.?
The tech needs the entire TV set unless you call ptscorp.com and see if they work on those boards from that model number of TV set.
