Have you ever worked on a solid state TV set before. Can you follow the circuit flow and trace the flow using a schematic diagram? when the convergence IC's go out on a lot of these Sony TV sets, it is not only the case where you need to replace the two convergence amp IC's, but when these IC's go bad, they generally will take out the pico fuses, circuit protectors, and or the feedback resistors. If you can trace circuits using a schematic and use a multimeter then I could share a manual with you. The service manual will not SHOW you how to fix the TV set. You will have to know how yourself. The manual will however show you where the circuits are and how it all works together. Good Luck
Larry, do you happened to have instructions on how to adjust the color guns on this type of tv by going into diag/service mode and adjust the RGB in grids. A service person showed me onec and I lost the cheat sheet I wrote down. I have the SONY KP-57HW40 and the RGB colors got separated 3 times in the past and service guy came out and spent about an hour to correct the convergent each time. It would last for a bout a year each time and it is going bad again. Now that the service warranty is out and I need to learn to fix it on my own. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

No I am sorry no such thing, you need the service manual. It is available here on techlore on the home page, click the resources tab and then go into the resources tab abd click onto the veiw the downloads, The service manual is there as a free download at least for now, for those who want it and need it.
