I own this tv over 15 years every thing is still working well except I can not watch regular tv channel directly the acreen will not run smooth but if I pass it to a vcr then adjust channel from that vcr it is ok plus I can play all other dvd or sattlelite by rca plug all it work very well some friend told me it come from the antenna. Can I buy that part and replace by myself? Pleasegive me some suggestion thank you.
It sounds like you have a bad tuner in this TV set. Because the set is 15 years old, i would think that this TV set would not be worth the money to buy a new tuner as you would be looking at , least 80 to 100 bucks just for the part. This tuner is also soldered onto the printed circuit board, so you would have to know how to solder and work on printed circuit boards. Good Luck
