Reference the Audio/Video chip IC3001 M52790SP. No where in the manual does it state what should be the readings or if voltage is insufficient where to look. Anyone have an idea how I can find the part that is at fault or where to look next. I live on an island in Fiji and any parts I order will have to come from either Australia or US.
I found you a free data sheet on this IC that has idea voltage readings as well as a block diagram on where the inputs, outputs and data ports as well as the clock and other important facts. If the symptom of your TV set is no picture or sound, this is probably not your problem. If you have a blank picture and no sound or even with sound, this could be your problem. If your stuck on one input and cannot switch off of the input, this could be the problem. In any event this block diagram should help you decide if indeed this is your problem.
