Hi Techlore Community - first time I have joined a "chat" site
I have bought a 46" Sharp Lc46XD1E which via a good quality gold plated scart lead I have linked to my Harmon Kardon DVD 20 player.
Watching DVDs is spoiled as my picture seems to readjust itself every couple of minutes so the picture seems wonky during these momnets. Picture basically looks as if it is stretching itself, then contracting, before going back to normal viewing screen.
Should say picture was fine in my previous tv - though not flat screen.
Has any one else come across this issue and can offer any solution?
Thanks
Elchappy
That certainly does seem odd. Double check the SCART lead at both the player and the TV. Give it a good rattling and make sure everything is firmly pushed in. And if that doesn't work, try a different cable, then post back with your results.
Thanks tried all this to no avail.
I am going to speak with TV retailer to see if he has any suggestion
This is a problem with the TV. If it is new and has this problem all the time, return it for service. This can be caused by bad components in the power supply or bad filter caps anywhere in the digital system.
