Phillips 36 inchTV acting funny

Before I left for vacation my older Phillips 36" TV was working great. I unplugged it and was gone for a month. Now when I try to turn the tv on the red light blinks and the tv flashes on then off doesn't work. Is there a switch I have to reset?
