hey well first of all when i plug my ARCHOS into my computer to put files onto it, no icon appears in the my computer folder so i can not open the ARCHOS to put pictures/videos/ music onto my ARCHOS. i think the problem is with the USB connection, but any advice would be appreciated.
Check under settings to see if the receiver is set for harddisc or Windows Media. It will only sync with the Windows Media selected. You are trying to sync the computer and the Archos and if that fails call the companies 800 number.

the ARCHOS is set to pc hard drive its not under windows media player.
