problem transfering an mp3 cd onto my psp

I can't seem to transfer an mp3 cd onto my psp. I'm using my computer with a usb cable. I don't have a "removable disk' window on my computer. I see the open folder with the letter e: at the bottom of the left hand screen but I can't seem to clik on it.
