You can use the LA7612, the LA7612n, or the LA7612a for the same video IC in just about any set. Or the RCA part number is 241266. If this set is indeed an RCA TV set, I found thiese other problems around the video IC bad. Found C26903 pn#214729,a 22mfd@35vdc C26902 pn#220998, 1 mfd@100vdc capacitor physically damaged, located on the analog comb board, They are he coupling capacitors for the video input to the combfilter. Also coil L26901 pn# 244249 open and was also replaced. Good Luck, and let us know how you made out with this repair.
checked everything on your list and more cr800 still shorting after set runs for a while no change in video even after swapping out t-chip caps test ok etc i unfortunately do not have schematic for this one am trying to aquire one video on the screen seems to be rolling vertucally as well maybe just cant tell with low lum thanks for your help cptnelectron.
Unfortunately, this is one repair that you get a schematic, or cut your loses.
