I recently changed the heater core in our 1988 Ford Thunderbird. I got everything in and hooked up and low and behold, the radio works along with the equalizer, but no sound. I've checked all the wiring and found nothing disconnected.
I'm stumped, any ideas.

You will have to go back in and make sure that the amp unit is plugged in under the console or the seat, or possibly under the dash. If it worked before, you left something unplugged or a plug looks like it is plugged in but it is partially out of the connector. Seen this a hundred times if not more.
