My wife was watching tv on our Sansui 32" LCD HDTV last night when I noticed that the color was almost non existant. Almost to the point of being Black & White. Some colors such as blue would show up ok but only when they were taking up the whole screen......like advertisement screen for Sears. I tried to adjust the color in the menu section but without much luck. Figuring I had bought a dud (the tv is only 2 weeks out of the store) I turned it off & decided to get ready for bed. My daughter, not ten minutes later turned the tv back on & it had excellent color. What can really go wrong with an lcd tv? Beside dead pixels. Why would the color fade like that & then come right back? Any ideas? Oh by the 3way the tv is connected to a dish nework box (not hd yet) with an S-video cable.
If the set is only two weeks old I'd take it back. There's plenty to go wrong with an LCD. Most of it is on one circuit board but because of the newness of your unit you shouldn't have to tolerate the set being sent into a service shop.
