Hello, first post and seems like a great forum. So we all know that our TV's have to be on a certain channel in order to watch our digital cable or direct tv etc. So for me it was channel 4, well this morning, on channel 4 is said "Not Available" for some reason. Not having this problem before, I checked AV2 which is the DVD channel and that was working. So I decided to get the remote for the TV, press Menu, and under Installation I chose "Autoprogram" And I started that, took about 15 minutes, and I went again to now check channel 3 and 4 and it didn't work. Then when I went to check all Channels, the AV2 was still my DVD player and I was pleasantly suprised to see that on AV1 was my comcast cable.
So im a happy camper now, but this will probably happen again in the future and who knows if just re-doing the autoprogram will fix it and cable will end up on another channel. I guess what I am trying to say is, is what I did the only way to fix this problem, or why does this happen and what should I do in future or to get it back on Channel 4.
