Sony KP-57WV600 problem

Hello, I'm a newbie to the site and think I'm capable of repairing our family TV with some help of the members. The set turns on for a minute or two, then a flashing red light on the screen and finaly the set turns off. I would sure appreciate any help with what needs to be replaced and best place to get the parts.                                                                                                                       THANKS, Johnny
