I have a mitusbishi projection tv VS-50607. one day it started turning off a few times. Then it would not turn back on. I read online how to reset it and look at an error code blinking light on the front. It finally turned on and had vertical lines going across very fast. I had a repair man come out and he charged me $50 and did not really tell me what was wrong. Said something about the light board needing to be tested or something. Now when I turn it on it has horizontal lines running up and down very fast. The strange thing is that if I put the cable signal on the right side of a spilt screen PIP the picture can be seen! But when it is on the left side it has those lines. I tried to plug the cable signal into ANT-B in the back...but that yields the same lines as when it is plugged into ANT-A.
The repairman wants to charge $400 to fix this. Is there any way that I can do this myself without ruining the TV or blowing myself to bits?
Any help would be great...
