I have a Hitachi 61" HDTV; it is probably 6 years old not sure. It has just started going to a solid lime green screen. I'm trying to figure out what parts to order so that we can fix it. Can someone tell me what this symptom is usually caused by? In General?
Additional information. I have no TV repair experience and would be willing to pay to have the tv repaired, but all the repairmen if I knew about what to expect The TV is model number 61HDX98B; I paid about 1200.00 for it 4 years ago. The TV will come on and stay on anywhere from 10-30 minutes before the Lime Green screen comes up. It has rarely but ocassionally gone to the Fuschia colored screen as well. If you turn it off and then back on, the TV is working again but only for about 10-30 minutes.
