In reading T3 this week, I came across one of June's "TC Most Wanted" devices that struck me as a little odd. It's the Viewsonic PJ285D, and it's basically a projector for your video iPod. So, you've got a video iPod (as I do) and you're not into watching movies on the tiny 2" screen (like I'm not) ... but why would you then buy a projector that's not small enough to be portable and probably costs a good $800 and then some? Seems like this is the epitomy of the "I have giant piles of cash burning a hole in my pocket and I've already bought solid gold gym shoes, so I'll buy this" gadget category.
Thoughts? Deep feelings?
