could somone tell me if they have ever experienced this. I have a 36 " sony trinitron and it went blank the sound is fine,however the please stand by button keeps blinking. do you know if there is a reset button?
Silva very well could be correct in the diagnosise. It could also be a bad connection around the flyback transformer, as well as a bad connection around the vertical circuit or the vertical sweep circuit is defective. I have seen many many probless in this set to cause this symptom. Also check on the CRT board for bad connections. See and make sure that the filiments in the end of the picture tube is glowing. If none of these things help. I'm afaid you will need to take the set to a pro to get it looked at. please if you have no experience working on solid state TV cicuits, play it safe and take the set in to a tech. No reply from the jungle IC301 (data bus is busy, shorted to ground or held high), IK video path is defective.
