Has anyone tryed to use a Nokia 6310 as a GPRS gateway? I am building a sensor that I would like to monitor remotely over the internet. I thought I could use my Nokia 6310 as a Serial interface via the Data Connector on the Nokia 6310 to GPRS. I have the pin layout of the Nokia 6310 Data connector and I can see a Txd (pin 7) and a Rxd (pin 8). However I do not see any handshaking pins. So I guess the real question is. Does anybody know how to clock the data in and out of the Nokia 6310?
