I just threw a Wii remote at my friends 52" rear projection tv, any suggestions on what I should do? The only thing that cracked is the plastic screen so the tv still wokrs fine, just a little bit annoying with that crack. Thanks in advance for advice.
You will need to replace the screen assy, no repairing a cracked screen. what is the model number and make of this TV set?
It's a Sony KDP-51WS655, I'm trying to replace the screens myself but I can't figure out how to get the front frame off completely. I can take off the back of the tv and go in from there but besides that I'm not sure how to take off the screens.

the speaker grill comes off, then there are screws on the bottom of the screen that were hidden by the speaker grill, then the whole front comes off, then you can take the screen off. I have this service manual, i can save you 25 bucks or so, if you want the service manual I will forward it to you , but you will need to e-mail me at [email protected] and go to pando.com and download the free program as that lets me e-mail larger files as this manual is a very large file.
my kdp-51ws655 won't turn on it blinks 10 times i hear sound for about 5 seconds then the sets turns off and blinks a faster 10 times any suggestions on what the problem is
