My Picture Is Green....Help!

I  have a JVC model # AV-27530 that no matter what I try I can not get rid of the green and I do mean green. I have tried adjusting the tint and color and nothing works. Is there something inside the back cover that I can adjust? Seems like anything that should be a black or dark color just comes out green.

Thanks,

mooserny

mooserny, your problem is

mooserny, your problem is most likely the picture tube, or there is a problem in the RGB drive circuitry.  you should get a service manual and go into the set and measure the three voltage on the picture tube driver board.  What you can do with the manual is find out what three connection on the CRT drive board are for the RGB drive.  Then you can disconnect the green and then take one of the other colors and connect it to the green connection.  If the problem comes back with the green being predominant, then you know you have a bad picture tube.  If it does not act the same then of course you will need to troubleshoot the RGB drice circuitry.  If that is the case, most likey a bad resistor, capacitor or even the Y?C jungle IC could be bad.  If you have no experience working on electronics or a multimeter please play it safe and call in a tech to assist you in this repair.  Good Luck and let us know what you find wrong with this TV set if you have it repaired.
