We're have a very strange issue with our Panasonic dual DVD/VCR model PV-D4744 during recording certain channels. The symptom is that the VCR records the program in Spanish! I've tried resetting everything. Another symptom is that in vcr/tv mode there is no sound on the channels we have language issues during recording. Any ideas?

If you do not have an instuction manual, you can download one HERE for free. if you look in the table of contents it says on page 18 and 19 there is a feature to change the languge. If that is not your problem go to the menu under the audio settings and make sure your unit is not in the SAP mode. The SAP stands for Second Audio Program.
